Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla or lemon flavoring
- 1 Tbsp butter
Directions
- Mix sugar and milk together in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a rolling boil.
- Add flavoring.
- Remove from heat and add butter.
- Stir with whisk until smooth.
- Pour over pound cake while still hot.
