Ingredients
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 cup yeast
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 cups raisins
Directions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine yeast, milk, and half of the flour.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap, and let rise overnight.
- Next day, mix in the rest of the ingredients into the same bowl..
- Separate mixture into loaf pans.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Once preheated, place loaves into oven for 30-33 minutes, or until golden on top.
- Let cool, and enjoy!
