Ingredients
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1/2 pound sugar
- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 2 pounds flour
- 1 pint new milk
- salt
- 1 gill (1/2 cup) good yeast
Directions
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Stir in eggs.
- Sift in flour.
- Add milk and a little salt.
- Once mixed well, add yeast.
- Bake in small tins or muffin rings.
- Serve for breakfast or with tea.
