Sweet Potato Pone

Ingredients

• 1 quart of grated sweet potatoes 
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 3 eggs
• 2 pints milk
• 1 small teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon allspice

Directions

1. Beat eggs and sugar together
2. Mix with flour and grated potatoes
3. Add milk, soda, and spice 
4. Bake in a slow oven until cooked
