Pickled Chine (Backbone)

Ingredients

  • One gallon water
  • 1 quart salt
  • 1/2 lb. sugar
  • 1/4 lb. sodium nitrate
  • Chine(backbone) or beef

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a tub
  2. Immerse your chine or beef.
