Marshmallow Cake
Ingredients
- One cup of butter
- Two cups of sugar
- Three cups of flour
- Two teaspoons of Dixie baking powder
- One cup of sweet milk
- Six eggs
- One cup of cream
- Two cups of granulated sugar
- One-half cup of water
- Sixteen marshmallows
Directions
- Add 1 cup of butter, 2 cups of sugar, 3 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of Dixie baking powder, 1 cup of sweet milk, 4 eggs, and one cup of cream into a bowl.
- Beat until stiff.
- Layer batter into 3 layers.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Boil ½ cup of water with 2 cups of sugar until it is a syrup.
- Place 2 eggs in another bowl and beat until stiff.
- Heat 16 marshmallows in a slow oven.
- Pour syrup over beaten eggs
- Add melted marshmallows to the mix.
- Spread and smooth over baked cake.
