Bermuda Johnny Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pint of flour
  • 2 ounces of butter
  • 1 Tbsp of Milk
  • 1 Tsp of salt

Directions

  1. Mix in 1 ounce of butter to flour
  2. Mix in Milk and salt
  3. Mix until the consistency of a paste
  4. Roll out the mixture and spread butter over it
  5. Divide the mixture into desired portions and roll each into a ball
  6. Bake until a toothpick comes out with no residue
  7. Let the cakes rest for 5 minutes after taking them out
  8. Cut cakes open and brush each with butter
