Fried Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bone in chicken
  • 2 tablespoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon water

Directions

  1. Clean and salt chicken well
  2. Add butter to a large pot over medium heat and brown
  3. Add chicken to pot and fry until light brown on both sides
  4. Add water to pot and cover
  5. Baste chicken frequently with water/butter combination and add water as needed
  6. Cook for 30 mins to 1 hour until cooked through
