Ingredients
- 2 pounds bone in chicken
- 2 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions
- Clean and salt chicken well
- Add butter to a large pot over medium heat and brown
- Add chicken to pot and fry until light brown on both sides
- Add water to pot and cover
- Baste chicken frequently with water/butter combination and add water as needed
- Cook for 30 mins to 1 hour until cooked through
