Ingredients
- Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion
Directions
- Scald tomatoes by rubbing them through the sieve making 1 pint of juice.
- Beat together the butter, a little salt and pepper, eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Soak in a tea cup of milk and onion that has been thinly sliced
- Stew over a slow fire for 1 to 2 hours.
