Ingredients
- 2 whole ducks
- 4 slices of white bread
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion
Directions
- Pluck both ducks clean of feathers.
- Clean out insides of both ducks with warm water.
- Stuff each with 2 slices of bread, 1 tbsp salt, 1 tbsp pepper, 1/4 cup butter, and 1/2 of the onion.
- Roast over hot fire while not getting the duck too close to flame.
- Baste frequently with more butter.
- Roast for approximately one hour.
