- Prepare chicken but cutting it up and draining the blood if necessary.
- Wipe the chicken dry.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Roll the chicken in flour. Make sure the chicken is covered in flour.
- Fry the chicken in oil until the chicken is a rich brown.
- Remove the gravy that has accumulated on the fried chicken.
- Combine the gravy with the 1/2 pint of cream.
- Season the gravy with a little mace, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Serve the chicken with the gravy if desired.
