Crullers

 

Ingredients

  • Four eggs
  • Three cups brown sugar
  • One nutmeg, grated
  • One Tbsp. butter
  • One Tsp. yeast powder
  • flour for rolling

Directions

  1. Combine ingredients and mix until fully incorporated
  2. Roll out dough
  3. Cut out rounds with a biscuit cutter and cut out center with an apple corer
  4. Twist to create shape
  5. Deep fry in lard
