Ingredients
- Two quarts of flour
- Half a cup of syrup
- Tablespoon of sugar
- Tablespoon of butter
- Small package of yeast
- Tablespoon of salt
- One cup of water
Directions
- Mix sugar and salt into flour.
- Dissolve the water into the flour mixture.
- Then add the yeast.
- Melt the butter and add to mixture.
- Add two cups of water, one cup of milk.
- Turn the mixture until the bottom of bowl is clean.
- Leave the mixture in a warm place to rise overnight.
- In the morning turn the dough two to three times and then divide into portions.
