Ingredients
- 2 Egg yolks
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- Red pepper to taste
- Lemon juice to taste
Directions
- Beat egg yolks and mustard for one minute.
- Add oil a drop at a time continusally beating.
- When like jelly, add lemon juice and a few drops of vinegar while beating.
- Chill mixture if there is a tendency to curdle.
- After all vinegar is used, add salt and pepper and whip for 5 more minutes.
- Put in container and keep chill until served.
