Apple Sauce for Roasted Goose
Ingredients
Four apples
Butter
Nutmeg
Directions
Pare, core, and slice the apples.
Put the apples into a saucepan.
Add enough water to keep them from burning.
Stew them until soft and tender.
Mash to a paste.
Add nutmeg and butter for sweetness
