Ingredients
- Half a cup of butter
- Half a pint of milk
- Two spoonfuls of small beer yeast or one cup of homemade yeast
- Salt
- Two pounds of flour
Directions
- Warm the half cup of butter into the half pint of milk.
- Add in two spoonfuls of small beer yeast or a cup of homemade yeast and some salt.
- Pour the mixture onto two pounds of flour.
- Let it rise for an hour.
- Knead the mixture and make it into either loaves or rolls.
