Ingredients
- 1 whole fish (any)
- 1/3 loaf of bread
- 1 egg white
- Melted butter
- Parsley
- Water
- Raspings (bread crumbs)
- Herbs (any)
- Salt (to taste)
- Pepper (to taste)
Directions
- Fillet the fish.
- Stew the bones and fins with water, herbs, salt, and pepper to create a gravy.
- Finely mince the fillets.
- Mix the mince with the bread, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Add in an egg white and a small amount of melted butter.
- Form the mixture into the shape of a cake and coat in raspings of bread (bread crumbs).
- Fry until the cake is pale brown.
