Ingredients
- Two pounds of flour
- One pint of milk
- 3/4 pounds of butter
- Eight eggs
- One and a half grated nutmegs
- One teaspoon of cinnamon
- one and a half wineglasses full of yeast
- One pound of white sugar
Directions
- Shift flour into a pan.
- Add warm milk.
- Add butter and stir.
- Beat eggs lightly.
- Add grated nutmeg.
- Add cinnamon.
- Beat everything together.
- Add the yeast and set it to rise.
- Stir in white sugar.
- Set to rise in pan.
